Have come across a fun use case:

non salesforce users using connect on service cloud voice bundle.

the requirement is to capture voicemails and email them to another system with ideally the transcript and recording.

Sadly because Salesforce has blocked access to SES this package cant be installed.

The SCV implementation of voicemail has the transcript and recordings stored off the core platform meaning we need to do an api callout to get the transcripts and the recording is probably even more challenging to attach to the email

Anyone got any thoughts?

Ive managed to put together the api call to get the transcript but the recording is still a challenge

@dougjaso would appreciate your thoughts on this: I'd like to port the presigned url part of this solution and dovetail it into the SCV version of voicemail express; seeing the conversation on the PR that was raised to remove the IAM user I'm wondering what would be the best option to do this and what components are needed as it looks like things have changed a bit from the original vmx solution
