🛑 Important changes in Allure TestOps release 4.21.0

Roles update

State before 4.21.0

Before the release 4.21.0 there were following global user roles for the end users registered in Allure Testops instance.

• ROLE_ADMIN
• ROLE_USER
• ROLE_AUDITOR
• ROLE_BOT (this was used for backwards compatibility, technically ROLE_BOT is 100% ROLE_USER)

State after 4.21.0

After the release 4.21.0 there were following global user roles for the end users registered in Allure Testops instance.

• ROLE_ADMIN
• ROLE_USER
• ♻ ROLE_AUDITOR → ROLE_GUEST, please update your configurations
• ❌ ROLE_BOT is deprecated you need to use ROLE_USER for service accounts

Default roles in config files will support ROLE_AUDITOR as deprecated, but it's highly recommended to update all entries of ROLE_AUDITOR to ROLE_GUEST.
