Becker recalls early 20th century life in Springfield: her family and home life; education at Sacred Heart Academy and the Bettie Stuart Institute; funerals; childhood games; neighborhoods; and volunteer activities. She also mentions the homefront during WWI and WWII, the 1908 race riot, and Springfield entertainments. 2 tapes, 180 mins., 75 pp.
