Madison, a printer and grain elevator worker in Kilbourne, Illinois, recalls life in the early 20th century as a newspaper editor, writer, and publicity agent for circuses and showboats. He also recalls Swain Steamboats, trade press writing, the printing business, the Kilbourne Centennial and press clipping bureau. 2 tapes, 167 mins., 24 pp.
