STEAMBOATS AND INLAND RIVERS
Hughes discusses riverboats and steamboats on the Ohio, Mississippi, and Kanawha Rivers during the late 19th and early 20th century. He also discusses conditions on the rivers, "water circus" boats, freight traffic, Greene Line boats, coal barges, and the people who made their living on the river. 1 tape, 21 pp.
