This code is introducing a solution for the Physician scheduling planning.
The code includes three different solutions (Phases):
A) Phase 1 Objective: 3-Shift scheduling for 2-weeks, in addition to consider the cover requirements for each shift/day.
- 20 Physicians (represented as letters A-T)
- Scheduled: 24/14 coverage.
- 2-shifts per-day for period of 2-weeks.
- Shifts: (M, A, N) that represents Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts simultaneously.
- Days: Represented as numbers (0-13) starting from Monday for the 2-weeks period.
- Physician Requests (Day-off, Shifts-ON or Shifts-Off).
B) Phase 2 Objective: increasing the physicians’ availability for each shift during all 7-days on the week.
C) Phase 3 Objective: 2-Shift scheduling, in addition to consider the cover requirements for each shift/day.
- 14 Physicians (represented as letters A-N).
- Scheduled: 24/14 coverage.
- Shifts: 2-shifts per-day for period of 2-weeks.
- Shifts: (E, L) that represents Early and Late shifts simultaneously.
- Days: Represented as numbers (0-13) starting from Monday for the 2-weeks period.
- Physician Requests (Day-off, Shifts-ON or Shifts-Off).
