Hidden Drawer is revealed by solving the Deck puzzle (winning the game prompts protagonist to remember about it).
Chest contains blunt dagger instead of dagger, plus what it contained before. There's no long rope now, thin rope replaces it.
Either `think' or nurse now prompt that dagger can be sharpened with your mind meditating.
Sofa cannot move, as it is initially tied to a wall with two pieces of rope, on of them thicker than another. Ropes cannot be torn with hands.
A thin rope can however be cut with blunt dagger.
To meditate on sofa, you need to get a brochure with cards description from Bookshelf downstairs (which contains new set of books once Attic is visited).
To go down, you need to make rope longer by tying a thin piece to it. It works the same way as before with slightly different descriptions.
Bookshelf now reveals a Secret Drawer in the bottom, containing the brochure.
Blunt dagger cannot be used on Diagram.
Holding Deck and brochure and waiting 3 turns on Sofa sharpens the dagger.
If you cut thin rope with it, you lose ability to go downstars until you release and push down Sofa.
Dagger may now cut: mandala (peeling it off the wall), thick rope (setting Sofa free to travel to Living Room) and Sofa itself.
It still cannot cut the shorter original part of the rope (otherwise game would become unwinnable).
Now, what makes you to want to find pushing Sofa down solution, once you can go up and down? Maybe -- once you got the brochure, or once you solve dagger sharpening -- you climb up one last time, and rope somehow becomes short again?
