The Maintenance update session doesn't fire an email #168

All other status updates do, including the "new maintenance session". However, when updating said session, it doesn't fire an email out to the subscribers.

@callahan22 did you start the worker? do you have sendmail (or are using smtp settings)

I have the same issue and workers are running. Original scheduled email does come out but updates do not. We using smtp settings.

So the current solution is to go in and modify the table as indicated above and maintenance updates will start sending e-mails? Or has this been corrected?

I submitted a PR with a fix - #255. You can either use my fork (branch maint-updates-notify), make the relatively easy change in the code (check the commit of the PR), or wait for @adamcooke to test, approve, and merge.
