org-download has a number of PRs waiting without any reaction from the maintainer? It seems that this remarkable package has not been given much attention lately.

@abo-abo, is thery anything we can do to help you on that package? What is your status?

The author itself seems to be well :-) and committed to some of this other projects recently.
