The file-type is somekind of certification and identifcation file generated by a java program. PRONOM is not able to process it, soo we need to be able to identify it using our own signatures.

TODO

  • Google and see if the byteheader is described somewhere online
  • In handin 77 theres is a .jks files. Use this for testing
  • Try to open the file and see if you can find a byteheader in the file

...or just add the info to some kind of list, where we keep information about fileformats, that are unidentified, such as the text-based ".jks". We could list info like the following: what is the extension? Is it binary? What is the fileformat? What do we do about it, and why?

Just a thought.
