Interfaces might be AppleTV, Chromecast, Roku, nVidia Shield, etc. For some (AppleTV, Shield) it would require a compatible app (Apple TV and Android TV, respectively). For Chromecast I think that all we would have to do is "Chromecast-enable" whatever page we're serving videos from, and Google handles the rest. No idea about Roku.


I solicited feedback about this in particular on one not-strictly-DEFCON chat group, and found that:

2 people used Chromecast

1 person used FireTV because traveling but uses Roku at home. Commented that Twitch was easier to see "live channels" than YouTube.

1 person used AppleTV apps

1 person used laptop via HDMI and commented that they didn't want to use Roku for a tech conf
