Libreoffice does't show menu

If I start the start centre the menu appears but if I then select an application (e.g. writer) the menu disappears.
The same happens when I open an application directly but then open a file.
This only happens with qt5 and kf5 backends, whereas it does not happen with gtk3.
However, if I use the default decoration such as breeze, the menu appears in the button correctly.

Sadly no. I need to restart kwin
