Mi Aqara Wireless Switch (Button2)

Not 100% sure if this is a plugin issue or an actual device issue but my switch appears correctly in homekit but when i press the switch homebridge registers the press as a connection test instead:

It's almost as if the main button and the connection button are wired to do the same thing...
