Struggling to debug the Designer workspace with vs code

Hi Team,

Im part of Gov.uk - department of education, one of our project has used this repo as a baseline for creating the digital Forms .

Does anyone tried this code local setup with windows platform or windows with ubuntu WSL along with VS code IDE.?
I have a serious problem, where our team has given with windows machine, on top of it we have setup ubuntu WSL, and cloned the code .
It is working as expected when i run without debugging.. But im struggling to Run this designer app with Debug mode in visual studio code.

If someone has working on vs Code for development , please, your help will be more appreciatable this time .
