Welcome to WrippleFOSS!

This is the central doc where information will be updated.

In this edition of WrippleFOSS things will be simpler, the targeted learners are still going to be the students.

The aim is to bring in awareness about open source sofware and help learners add cool projects to their resumes.

Taking into consideration the fact that mentors can focus on just one team, only a limited number of learners will be taken in for this edition.

Volunteer work

As WrippleFOSS is completely powered by the community, we need volunteers who have the desire to contribute in terms of open source software and become better open source developers themselves. The following are the ways in which a volunteer can help the program.

  1. Slack Representative - The role is to set up teams in the slack workspace and check the queries of the teams.
  2. Graphics Design- Make a few posters.
  3. Database Maintainers - The role of the maintainers is to take care of the team formations and maintenance of the google sheets.
  4. Github representatives - The role would be to communicate with the Database maintainers and create repositories accordingly.
  5. Public relations - The role would be to spread awareness about the program and possibly bring in students as well as NGOs that need help.
