During 14/12/2020 Office Hours, the topic of other plugins implementing their own notifications bars / centers was put upon the the table.

So far, three plugins are known to implement some kind of notification bar:

  • Jetpack: Provides stats about website traffic. It includes a notification toolbar in the WordPress dashboard that notifies about web traffic related events.
  • YOAST SEO: Implements a "help beacon" to manage its notifications since 12.6. It holds notifications about SEO related topics.
  • Beaver Builder: Includes a notification hub inside its page builder tool. It mainly notifies the user about news posted on the Beaver Builder blog.
  • Unagi: Collects the 'admin_notices' to put them on a dedicated page.
