Any plans to kill Gutenberg ?

Just wondering if there are any plans to get rid of Gutenberg in Wordpress ?

It's by far the worst thing that happened to wordpress imo. I don't know one client, neither do I know one dev who likes it and enjoys using it. It's useless complexity added to the mix, nothing else. As a developer, I don't see any benefit compared to "before Gutenberg".

I keep using the Disable Gutenberg plugin in all my projects as clients reject Gutenberg quite firmly nowadays. It is what it is, but I truly wonder what's next as I can't see this survive many years.

I bet the WP team will firmly stand behind this feature, but it is a shame. Community (from my experience) never liked it and even reject it more and more. I see developers who were WP addicts switching to other solutions. Sad.
