how and where to add new wads that i make using obsidian level maker?

basically title, where should i put these wads to make them show up in the teleport screen.

The obsidian level maker replaces the original doom2 levels. map01, map02 and etc. try selecting them in the teleporter

Can you tell me how to get them to show up though? I've tried loading Obsidian WADs on the top of the load order, at the bottom, and no what I try it doesn't actually show up. Am I missing something? Am I not using Obsidian right? Am I not using ZDL right? (Basically just asking for elaboration and a clearer answer to the original question lol)

If you have mappack WadSmoosh you can teleport from outpost

you can simply follow the order of loading in the ZDL similar to what I have shown

Cool so I can load right into the Obsidian maps at the title screen. Can you explain more about how to get the maps to load in the teleporter at the outpost?

If you do not use modpacks, you are using 1 wad (Obsidian, original Doom, Doom 2 and etc.) - just start a new game -> "Oblige Me". You will start immediately on the map01 and it will be added to Outpost Transport.

If you're using supported modpacks (Lexicon, Compendium or WadSmoosh) - you need to connect the compatibility patches and they will be automatically added to Outpost Transport.

Okay cool. Mine doesn't say "Oblige Me", but it loaded the Obsidian maps just fine and I assume when I finish them I can access them from the outpost. Does that mean then if I replace the Obsidian maps after I've gotten there, then new ones will show up in their place at the teleporter?

I haven't tried that kind of thing. It would be better to save the character (and the passed stage of the game in the "number of levels" in the game settings). Then load a new map pack and load the character.
