You know what would be great? IOS mcpe hacks. And an active community at that... my god. It's been a long time since that was ever a thing for people on apple devices.
Question oh mighty Vertex-Client gods... will there ever be a hack available for IOS?

Hey there! While we would love to port Vertex to iOS, we can't. And well, here's why:

  1. Vertex Client PE is made with ModPE. The last full ModPE on iOS was back when MCPE 0.7.x was released. We know that Byteandahalf started working on a new ModPE for iOS, but that one is nowhere near finished and is also -as far as we know- not for the current MCPE version.
  2. Most of our devs (and I, @peacestorm) don't have an iOS device, which makes testing harder.
  3. We don't make things for rooted or jailbroken devices at the moment.

Hope this explains enough.

Have a nice day,
greetings from peacestorm and the rest of the dev team.

I figured. Not much in the way of IOS mods of any sort nowadays for any app... the jailbreaking community just isn't what it was.
With that said... I appreciate people like you and your dev team making mods for the app, even if I can't use them. It's a lot of damn work.
I just hope that you continue to stay active because there are always people like me who use the tools you create and appreciate the work you do. (Ignore the haters.)
And hell... maybe one day you'll get to the point where you release that .deb eh? 😉

Thanks for inspiring us to do the things we love, we hope to continue this for ever, even though that won't be possible. It is you who makes us feel like not giving up, thanks for that. :)

Have an amazing day, to everyone who reads this. ;)
