Hello,
I use Cardinal as rack and the audible instruments plug-ins are shipped with it. I had used Ubuntu 20.04 and often used your Liquid Filter. It works fine and it's a great filter. Yesterday I did a release upgrade and now my system runs on Ubuntu 22.04 with no hardware change. When I started saved projects in Cardinal I observed a lot of xruns in jack and was wondering about whats going on. Here is what I found out:
I started a fresh new project in Cardinal, added a sequencer, drum unit, oscillators and the Plateau Effect and no xruns happen. But even if I just add the Liquid filter (no need to connect cables to it) the xruns arrive in Jack every 1 or 2 seconds. Even if no sound is playing and the clock for the sequencer is stopped. So what do you think about that. If I delete the Liquid filter, the xruns stopped immediately. That's a lot different from the behavior in Ubuntu 20.04.
I tested another filter, Holt from Rackwindows, and no xruns.
Could you investigate this please?
