[QUESTION] Soil moisture fraction output with VIC v5

This is a general question: How can VICv5 be set to output soil moisture with fractional units instead of mm? In previous versions of VIC this was done by setting a global parameter MOISTFRACT TRUE but in the new version it seems that the parameter is skipped.

There is an output variable OUT_SMLIQFRAC which is the "Fraction of soil moisture (by mass) that is liquid, for each soil layer", would this be the v5 equivalent?
