Are there posibilities to manipulate that API?
Like in for instance add ?news=latest to the url to only get the latest (and greatest) news of Renegade-X?
The overall size right now is 220KB which can be brought down to 6KB for only the latest article.

I'm not sure, you'd have to ask @JAJames, as she's the only capable forum administrator at the moment.
