Bowls of Flavor reward issue

the Bowls of Flavor gives you a mooshroom spawnegg, but when i recieved the spawnegg it was a invalid spawnegg, it was just a white invalid spawnegg and can't spawn the mooshroom cow.

I think the issue might be that the spawneggs are outdated as a while back Mojang changed the spawneggs to use nbt tags to have a mob inside of them iirc.

I am using the 1.10 version of the mod, not sure if this will still be supported than
