Suggestions #9
Comments
Id say leave Carl-bot to handle it. its doing a fine good of handling it now. |
We have a ton of suggestions completely ignored Some do need some extra discussion, github issues are a perfect fit |
Not everyone uses Github so maybe we can create a channel for discussing the suggestions. |
I feel like someone in a coding server who doesn't use github probably doesn't have any suggestions relevant to the server (Wow that sounds rude-) |
it sounds kinda true tho lmfao. I say we create a new repo but do this. |
I mean.... Also, maybe we can make a channel called gh-suggestions where webhook request is sent whenever someone gives a suggestion |
The webhook idea is perfect! |
I agree. |
How is this any different come carl-bot??, its easier to accept and deny, while it maybe easier to see suggestions but it will be harder to find good suggestions u actually want to see |
You won't be saying so if you've actually used github- |
strange I was actually thinking about the webhook thing before lmfao |
Maybe I am BobDotCom :pepehmm: |
So @FalseDev if we are doing this, is it possible for me to contribute? (if we are coding in javascript which we probably aren't) |
There is no code related to this issue though, can you explain? |
I meant for the webhook stuff, I was thinking of making a custom webhook format rather than the usual format. But it's not compulsory |
Personally, I think that the standard webhook format will work fine but if you have an idea then just reply to this with some more details about it. As of now, I will make a repo and setup a webhook to get this ready. |
@CodeWithSwastik its ready if you want to use it |
Moving suggestions to Github
We could possibly move suggestions to this very github repo and rename this repo to TCA
This way everyone can comment their views on everything and staff also have a better time sorting through and applying good ones
