Issue Description:

Biomes are infrequently broken up by patches of stone which have the river biome and are roughly river-shaped.
Deserts make this very visible: Screenshot

The log contains the following:

[Client thread/ERROR] [RTG]: Failed to remove the vanilla river layer; Wrong GenLayer type: buildcraft.energy.generation.GenLayerAddOilDesert

Maybe related to the same problem as #1285?
