Item that does... something.

Achievement for... something. Gathering/harvesting every single APL block (or maybe just the wood blocks)?

The Pitchfork is, first and foremost, a weapon, very similar to the vanilla axe in that it deals more damage than a sword, but it's slower to use/re-charge. The Pitchfork would be available in wood, iron, gold, and diamond:

In addition to being a weapon, the Pitchfork also has the ability to uproot grass/leaves/flowers within an x-block radius, very similar to Botania's Horn of the Wild. The higher the tier of Pitchfork, the bigger the uprooting radius:

Wooden Pitchfork = 3-block radius
Iron Pitchfork = 6-block radius
Gold Pitchfork = 9-block radius
Diamond Pitchfork = 12-block radius

Also... not sure how difficult this would be to code, but... maybe the Pitchfork's special ability is that it has a farther 'reach' so that you can attack mobs from further away... which makes sense because pitchforks are longer than swords/axes.

I feel like the pitchfork should provide faster breaking for some blocks as well
Hay,
leaves,
anything else similar to that

For the pitchfork uprooting how do we want to do it in terms of tool durability? Or do we want to set a timer on it like the Horn of the Wild?

Hmm, good question... I suppose our options are to have it lose one durability every time it's used or lose one durability for every block that it uproots... not sure what's best so happy to hear others thoughts.

Also... just had a thought regarding the breaking of certain blocks... instead of breaking them faster, maybe the pitchfork should 'shatter' the block... for example, if you pitchforked a hay block, it would drop 9 wheat instead of the hay block... and leaves could maybe drop saplings? Haven't really given it much thought... just throwing it out there.

I've decided to go the route of the thing losing 1 durability everytime it's used. Would definitely be willing to change it if we deem it goes too fast. Though I've started looking into the extended reach and we would require custom packets to be sent to the server for it to work properly and that could lead to... unexpected issues.

Ugh, custom packets.... that sounds scary! 👻
