This project is a wearable button or badge featuring RGB LEDs driven by a tiny processor.
Specification and features are still being defined. At very least, it will have some cool color patterns on its addressable LEDs, probably two of them. It might also be able to do some other useful functions.
Definitely or possibly will include:
- ATTiny85 processor (whole CPU with only 8 pins!)
- SK6812 / ws2812 "NeoPixel" LEDs, probably 2
- battery power - three AAA cells?
- on/off switch - https://www.adafruit.com/product/805 ?
- pushbutton? to select functions or patterns. maybe even two buttons.
- 3-pin accessory header: FRC "pwm" pinout.
- programming header or at least pads
The schematic and board design is in the kicad subdirectory.
Software is in the src
directory.
We hope to make the code buildable with the arduino IDE, but I haven't yet found an arduino-IDE plugin package for the attiny85.
