I wanted to add units following the SBOL standard to a design but I found that there are not units for gene expression in the Ontology of Measurements (OM).
I think it should be better to have MEFL or other unit for gene expression on the OM now that SBOL3 can represent experimental data and setups.
How could we add a new unit to the OM? Is there another alternative?

I'd love to do something like this eventually, but I don't think that there is sufficient scientific consensus to add such specific recommendations into the standard yet.
