Developing a Chatbot & Nudges Mechanism for cQube

Hello cQube Community,

We're excited to kick off a discussion today regarding a feature that could significantly enhance the functionality and user experience of cQube - developing a Chatbot & Nudges Mechanism. This system aims to produce reports using natural language inputs from users, and it would also have the ability to notify relevant stakeholders when any metric crosses a threshold value.

The Current Landscape

cQube is all about making educational data management more efficient and insightful. We want to make the data more accessible to the user. This is where a Chatbot & Nudges Mechanism could step in.

The Proposal

Our proposal is to create an AI-powered Chatbot within cQube, designed to:

• Understand Natural Language Queries: Users can interact with the Chatbot using natural language queries to request specific data or reports. For example, a user could ask, "Can you provide me with the attendance report for School X?"
• Generate Reports: The Chatbot would have the capability to retrieve relevant data from cQube and generate reports in a user-friendly, human-readable format. Users could then review and share these reports.
• Threshold Monitoring: The system would continuously monitor key metrics. When any metric crosses a predefined threshold value, it would trigger a notification.
• Nudging Stakeholders: Notifications wouldn't just stop at alerts; the Chatbot could also nudge the relevant stakeholders responsible for the metrics in question. For instance, if the attendance rate drops below a certain level, the Chatbot could notify the school principal or the district education officer.
