"I am using a gnu/linux system at the moment. I can not seem to join Raghna's scavenger game. The game indicates that I do not have the map, but confirms that I have it at the same time. Any idea why?"

A) has this been reported to PRD, B) real issue is that Chobby should indicate Failed instead of Completed?
