Users's groups are dropped

We have configured some groups in SonarQube to manage project permission and add users to them.
When the user logged in SonarQube, this information is dropped and the user lose its right.
On SO, some people said it is by design, as the groups must be delegated to the AD.

In my organisation, this is not a viable option (update to the AD is a very complex process...).
Can you add an option to avoid the user/group mapping deletion ?
