Crash on open; 2.1.1 windows...opened fine yesterday

Went to start work, opened file and crashes out about halfway during load
Tried an earlier file, does the same

Any ideas where I start looking?

1. Tried the new portable beta, same outcome
2. Any file saved 6/10/24 crashes

The file Im trying to open has a couple of days of getting test prints perfect
