external perimeter jerk

I'm reading the adaptive pressure advance guide. There are some confusing instructions in running the tests:

IMPORTANT: Make sure your acceleration values are all the same in all text boxes. Same for the print speed values and Jerk (XY) values. Make sure your Jerk value is set to the external perimeter jerk used in your print profiles.

I struggle to understand what external perimiter jerk actually is. As far as I can see there is no such thing in my print profiles and google have exactly one hit, which is the guide.

Am I meant to set it to Maximum jerk X and Maximum jerk Y from the Motion ability tab?
