Morning All, firstly id like to say great work. I really enjoy using this slicer, I believe that I have barely scratched the surface with the functionality so still a lot to understand, but so far so good. Keep up the good work.
I have an idea which I believe will help/improve top surfaces where bridge infill is used to help support the top shell.
Lets say I'm using 3 perimeter loops for my print, I think it would be helpful if the Bridge infill layer could have a reduced number of perimeters.
For example if my standard perimeter loops is 3, it feels like using a single outer perimeter loop will allow the 2 inner perimeter loops from the previous layer + the single outer perimeter loop will give superior anchorage for the bridge infill. As the bridge infill will be supported in the Z direction by the 2 perimeter loops underneath, rather than just relying on the inner perimeter loop to grip the extruded bridge infill in the Y direction.
Any thoughts on this from anyone? Maybe its already available and I've not yet come across how to enable the use of such functionality. If that's the case my apologies.
Or maybe having no perimeters is an option. though it feels like this will have a negative affect on the visual quality having a missing perimeter loop before the top shell layers.
