I'm a big fan of the vase mode as it allows for a variety of applications beyond just vases. However, a limitation I've encountered is the inability to switch between normal and vase mode within the same print job. This feature would be incredibly useful for prints like a box, where you could have a solid and/or intricately shaped bottom (normal mode), a sleek and clean outline (vase mode), followed by a thicker top portion (normal mode) again. I'm not sure if this is feasible within the slicer's framework, but I've conducted some successful tests using modified Gcode to achieve this effect. It would be great to see this implemented in Orca slicer. Thanks in advance for considering this request.
