Possible to use mp4 files?

Is it possible to mix pics and mp4 files and cycle between both? I am using a local directory and would love to put some different fireplace mp4 files on display etc...

Also would love night mode to be able to display images from a separate folder from the time night mode is set for, for example, darker images etc.. Currently, I have a separate folder location set, but the images appear in the main rotation and are not the images from the separate folder etc etc..
