API for ProductSearch available?

I'm looking at the code and the numerous Pull Request but do I understand it correctly this plugin cannot return products bases on text?
Like the search page does?

I'm moving from another Webshop application to NopCommerce v4.2 and need to add a lot of Rewrite on the old domain to the new domain but not all products have the same URL in the old and new domains.

Searching for the product by name would help.
