How to check if biometrics is disabled?

I want to know if there is a way to check if the user has biometrics disabled in Android/iOS? I mean, i can check with functions if the user has set any fingerprint in Android, for example, but this could return 'true' and the user has disabled fingerprint in his mobile configuration.
