Add the ability to hide sorting row

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The new sorting feature is taking too much prime real estate at the top of the channels list. Some users almost never change the sorting order

Describe the solution you'd like
Add an option to hide the sorting option altogether or redesign it to take less space (like being a button, not a full row).
