Rendered anchor references to Notes (e.g., "Clause A.3, Note") are obtuse when appearing in some layouts, such as a table cell. Typical footnote notation (e.g., "¹") would be more appropriate. In general, it would be helpful to allow alternate text and styling markup in an anchor body.
