First of all, THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT WORK you have done on this project.

I am using it in my metalworking company and have developed some extra features that, although they are only in Spanish, I believe can add more functionality to the project.

I have created a system to record workers' "Time Logs" and another feature to register "Paid Leave" for workers (medical appointments, vacations, strikes, etc.).

These two features allow for the recording of "Time Logs" and "Work Absenteeism," listing the records, importing/exporting from Excel, generating PDFs, and filtering the lists.

I am attaching images of the interface in case you think they might be useful.

I have also created other features, such as a more "conventional" invoice template, and I am currently working on functions to create filters for orders/quotes, etc.

In addition, I am going to create functions to import/export in Excel for all the fields in the system, so that data can be massively dumped into the program.

I am not an expert programmer, but in Spain, we say, 'It's good manners to be grateful,' and thanks to this program, I have been able to automate many parts of my business. Therefore, if I can contribute to the growth of your project, I would be delighted."

Which version of WEM are you working on?

You can contribute with great pleasure to the project, I will be delighted to integrate new or improved features. What you have done already seems to be progressing well.

Two questions regarding the screenshots sent

1 - Are absenteeisms different from the absence request functionality already present in the profile ?

2 - Are the logbooks recorded on the orders ?

I understand, it is one of the axes of progression of WEM

A resource can be a machine or a human, today I do not differentiate it, or at least humans are not resources.

Would you like to create pull requests to include the function?
I could modify styles if necessary?

It's clear that humans are not resources, but labeling it this way allows me to later see the productivity of each worker.

This program is only used by the administration, and the workers (welders, turners, etc.) do not use it. So by recording the work reports as resources, it allows me to later view the productivity of each 'resource,' see the material consumption by each one, and generate time reports (who takes more/less time to complete a task).

The way I've developed it is unorthodox, just like how I've been modifying the code.

I've attached an image of the new form I added for the 'types of paid leave.

Clearly, I would put this form in the time management and no in the methods.

Question to understand, why not use the tasks to know the times logged on each activity?

what interests me in what you have done is to be able to log tasks on an order that is not assigned to a manufacturing order

for example, going to get a grinder disk urgently, it is not a task, but it is an expense linked to an order
