It seems it has no effect if I choose to monitor 1 drive only... I realized that as I copied data from D:\ to P:\ while the first one is a partition on internal disk, P is external USB-Drive. It shows a lot of data written while the filter is set to "0 C: D:". Thats the next surprise: I never saw the "0 C: D:" constellation and thought there would be "0 C:" only.

check the filter in code
find out if there is a way to seperate logical drives (after thinking about the use case, because the drive LED doesn't distinguish, too)
make textfields in the lower right of the scroller editable and apply the value to the scroller
