Feature Request: Update Figma UI Kit to Support Figma Variables

Overview

With the recent introduction of Figma variables, there is a significant opportunity to enhance our existing UI Kit by integrating these variables. This update will streamline design processes, improve consistency across projects, and allow for more dynamic and responsive design elements.

Objectives

1. Enhance Consistency: By utilizing Figma variables, we can ensure that design elements maintain consistent styles and properties across different components and screens.
2. Improve Efficiency: Designers will be able to make global changes quickly by adjusting variable values, reducing the time spent on manual updates.
3. Support Dynamic Design: Variables will allow for more flexible designs that can adapt to different themes or user preferences without extensive rework.

Proposed Changes

1. Define Variables:

   • Create a set of global variables for colors, typography, spacing, and other design tokens.
   • Ensure that these variables are well-documented for easy reference.

2. Update Components:

   • Refactor existing components in the UI Kit to utilize the defined variables instead of hardcoded values.
   • Ensure that all components are compatible with the new variable system.
