Installation Guide Visual Studio 2019

1. Download the VSIX file
2. Close all instances of Visual Studio
3. Double click the file and follow the installation instructions on screen
4. The Extension should now be aviaiable in the Tools menu bar of Visual Studio

Installation Guide Twincat XAE Shell

1. Download the VSIX file
2. Close all instances of TwinCAT XAE shell
3. Unzip the VSIX package
4. Locate your TwinCAT XAE Shell installation folder (common: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Beckhoff\\TcXaeShell\\)
5. Navigate to %InstallationFolder%/Common7\\IDE\\Extensions
6. Create a new folder in the in the Extensions folder
7. Copy the contents of the unpacked VSIX package to the newly created folder
8. The Extension should now be aviaiable in the Tools menu bar of TcXaeShell
