Let me jot down a possible redo: use :TOhtml in Vim and maybe web fonts instead of pictures. (@cangiuli already knew this and I think this would be cool.)

(Unfortunately, I don't have enough Ch'i now to work on this.)

Possible ways to automate the process: use iframes to embed the generated HTML files directly.
