bug: Portrait mode not working properly

Bug description

Not sure what's going on with portrait mode but when i use PiP mode it doesnt work properly. same thing with going full screen with a portrait mode video it goes to landscape when it's not supposed to. I've seen other people have this issue in the discord as well saying it effects lives as well. i will provide 2 separate videos to demonstrate my issue.

Steps to recreate bug:

1. open a video that is in portrait mode.
2. press the home button so it uses pip mode or go full screen.
3. see issue.
