• Talked with Dr. Raston on focusing peaks after they are found
• Talked with Dr. Raston on save. Saving peaks data and absorbance data. Giving the user an option between the two

Nick:

• Presented current progress on SVG animation

Ray:

• Started Kubernetes cluster in Oracle Cloud, waiting for nodes to propagate
• Has two docker containers, one for dependencies, other for back-end
• Presented server architecture diagrams for documentation

Dr. Raston:

• Presented idea for updated laser design
• Demonstration on how laser physics should be drawn

For today (05/31/2023):

• Worked on implementing SVG updates for the two detectors and sources
  • Ran into issue where SVG is not rendered when calls to make changes occurs. Current code attempts to access null identifiers. Currently unsure how to continue.
• Merged Ray's docker additions to FTIR Functions repository
• Started Wiki page for the FTIR's Oracle Cloud structure diagrams

For 5/31/2023:

• Worked on new save function
• Preliminary save functions for both peaks data and absorbance spectrum data are working on my fork!
• currently, the file names are random jumbles of letters and numbers
  • I want to change that (the default file names look very suspicious and would probably freak out users)
• There is a small bug where you cannot download the same data file multiple times in a row (via spamming the download button), but I highly doubt that would interfere with our users
