Hi, @dspruell. Having an ARM version of REMnux is definitely something we'd like to get done. It just needs some focused effort, and we just haven't had a chance to devote the necessary attention to it. Maybe someone will volunteer to lead the effort :-) |
@dspruell and @lennyzeltser , no doubt, it would be great having a REMNux for ARM like Kali did and even Microsoft released good device (Volaterra) running ARM Windows. Additionally, ARM machines have been popping up from everywhere, they are strong trend today and a reality for a very near future. Yes, it demands a huge effort to do it, but ARM is the future and it's worth. |
Yes, this is on the roadmap. Just need to get to it. |

Wasn't sure which repo fit best a question like this, ended up here.
Currently REMnux documentation states "REMnux is based on an x86/amd64 version of Ubuntu, and won't run on an ARM processor such as Apple M1 or M2."
With Apple M1/M2 devices becoming much more popular, and with an increasing number of analysts having M1/M2 devices as daily drivers, would the project conceivably support an ARM based distribution? Kind of thinking along the lines that:
