How to file a helpful issue

Qubes OS release

R4.1

Brief summary

Sometimes the state of a terminal window appears to become inconsistent. The bug seems to happen intermittently. I initially discovered it when working on a Wayland compositor for Qubes OS, but it has since happened with X11 as well, so presumably the bug is elsewhere.

This could be a mistake on my part.

Steps to reproduce

No reliable ones.

Expected behavior

No corruption

Actual behavior

TTY states get corrupted and I am not able to fix them except by closing the window. Keys seem to be misinterpreted.

This is still an issue; I have seen it with nested Wayland compositors.
