As you can imagine, if you want to be equitable, you should convey all the info here in an accessible way. If you were blind, and you were someone who needed the information in this graphic, would just a concise list cut it? I don't know about you, but I have no idea what myeloma is (except that it's my eloma, not your eloma .. ).

However: should it all be in the alt text? We don't like having a large amount if we can avoid it and like to use the surrounding text to describe things in detail because it is easier for screen reader users to go through live text than alt text. The article Infographic Alt Text covers this situation: you can have a summary as alt text, and a long description as live text below. You should consider this.

This information is also covered in the W3C's Complex Images Tutorial.

To sum up: we need the following demos on the Enable infographic page:

  1. A bitmap image with a long description of live text below. You can use this one:

  1. An SVG with nodes that read the text within, from top to bottom, left to right. You can use the following bitmap as a model that you can use to convert to an SVG:
